In the summer I work at the yoga centre almost every day, so I can't seem to tackle any translation in a reasonable delay, and I have barely touched my pencils in the past month, which means my various and dear projects are on "hold" until I don't know when. Not to mention this blog.
But behind the scenes, I am spending quality time with Pierre who is in Montréal for almost three weeks, and this makes me truly happy. Pictures coming soon (here is a sneak peek).
:o)
How wonderful to have three whole weeks with your love. I hope it keeps moving slowly so you can soak in every precious moment.
RépondreSupprimerThe days and weeks here seem to fly by & while things in my life are moving forward slowly my life seems to be flashing by. Sometimes I worry, unnecessarily I know, that my dreams will still be just dreams, that my time is running out. Today I drew a 'patience' card!
Beautiful image of you Emmanuelle. Is that your peonie cemetery?
Oh, I know exactly what you mean! I've always had this thought, too, as it can take several years for me to achieve a project that I should have been able to complete in a few months... I eventually became aware that every slow step I'm taking is in fact the whole point of these projects: my skills are making progress along the way. And enjoying the process is truly helpful (instead of feeling stuck, or guilty, like I did so often before).
SupprimerSimilarly, I feel so blessed to be able to spend even three weeks with my love, as each year keeps adding depth and joy to our feelings, in every aspect.
Yes, this is my peony secret garden! Hydrangeas are in bloom now, and everything is so lush all around, with many birdsongs. Thank you for the compliment Chontelle, and for your warm comment. I'd really like to know more about your dreams :o)
ps - He flew back to Paris a few days ago and I miss him, so I dived right back into my portrait project - it's both tricky and rewarding to be drawing again after many weeks!
Supprimer:o)
